The French Interior Ministry said that French police have made 323 arrests since the start of UEFA EURO 2016.

"Of these arrests, 196 were taken into custody, eight convicted to jail terms and three given suspended sentences," the French Interior Ministry said in a statement on Thursday. 

It added that 24 persons were expelled from France since the beginning of the Euro 2016.

Euro 2016 is currently being held in France from June 10 to July 10, 2016.
