The first truck from a Turkish aid convoy arrived on Monday evening to the Kerem Shalom border crossing ahead of entering the Gaza Strip, Turkish news agency Anadolu Agency reported.
A total of 10 trucks from Turkey's "Lady Leyla" aid ship, which docked at Ashdod Port yesterday, were expected to enter the strip today, carrying 11 tons of humanitarian aid, Mounir Ghalban, the crossing's director on the Palestinian side, said.
The aid includes flour, sugar, rice, cooking oil, clothing, and children toys.
