The Federation of Chambers of the Gulf Cooperation Council, FGCCC, lead by its Secretary-General, Abdul Rahim Hassan Al Naqi, today participated in the 10th World Chambers Congress in Sydney, Australia.

12,000 chambers of commerce from over 100 countries are participating in the biennial event, which is taking place from 19th to 21st September.

Al Naqi emphasised the importance of the Congress on a commercial level, highlighting the flow of goods and trade exchange between GCC countries and abroad. The World Chambers Congress is a great opportunity for business owners and investors to develop networking opportunities and discuss pressing matters in the interest of the international trade community, he continued.

The FGCCC Secretary-General added that the event is also a valuable opportunity to exchange innovative ideas and to promote efforts between global chambers of commerce to encourage future business and trade.

The 10th World Chambers Congress held under the theme "Where Business Connects", and places a spotlight on the main trends and issues impacting chambers of commerce around the world, including global mobility, sustainability, and the Fourth Industrial Revolution. It will also examine the changing role that chambers are playing toward government and society.
