An Iraqi army officer was killed and two soldiers injured Monday in a roadside bomb explosion in Beiji north of Tikrit. Police said unidentified attackers detonated the bomb as an army patrol was passing in the area, causing also damage to a vehicle. Troops combed the area and arrested six suspects, police said.
