Egyptian Foreign Minister Mohamed Kamel Amr is to embark on a several days six-nation African Tour next Monday, said the foreign ministry spokesman Thursday. The spokesman said that the tour, due to take Amr to south Sudan, Kenya, Tanzaniya, Rwanda, Congo and Sudan, aims at bolstering Egypt's relations with these six African countries at the political and economic levels and explore how best to further cement these relations and prospects of stepping up the growing commercial relations between Egypt and these countries. The tour also aims at boosting Egypt's growing investments through overcoming some obstacles which are still hindering the flow of trade and investment movement between them, the spokesman added. He went on to say that FM Amr would hold talks with his respective counterparts on bilateral and other regional issues of mutual concern as well as achieving a sort of consensus on pending issues in the framework cooperation accord of the Nile basin countries.
