The Egyptian-Sudanese-Ethiopian ties will be stronger after signing contracts with two foreign consultancy firms hired to study the impact of Ethiopia’s Grand Renaissance Dam (GERD), the Ethiopian water and irrigation minister said.

In statements to MENA on Tuesday, Motuma Mekasa said the ceremony marking the inking of the contracts would be held later in the day during the 12th meeting of the trilateral committee.

The three states will sign contracts with the two French companies "BRL" and "Artelia" as well as the UK-based law firm "Corbett" which was selected to manage the legal affairs of the tripartite committee
