Forty-eight suspects were arrested here Thursday during the security forces mission to purge the Kerdasa area, in Giza governorate, from militants. According to the Middle East News Agency (MENA), three of the 48 suspects were involved in the attack on the Kerdasa police-station which led to the death of 11 policemen. One of the arrested throw a hand grenade during the police apprehending, leading to the injury of five police and army personnel, a security source told MENA.
