An Egyptian-Japanese workshop on managing education policies was inaugurated on Sunday at the Ministry of Higher Education.

Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Ashraf el Shehi inaugurated the workshop, organized by the ministry.

Representatives from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) on the fields of national and education planning, adviser of Japan's education minister Harumi Nagao, and others were present.

El Shehi said the globalization and its implications on education highlight the importance of constant cooperation, sharing expertise among Arab, European, and international universities.
