Egyptian Defense Minister Gen.Abdul Fatah Al Sissi met here on Saturday with an African Union committee led by former President of Mali Alpha Oumar Konare. They discussed the latest internal and regional developments. The African Union delegation expressed hope that Egypt can regain security and stability after recent events. They also stressed that Egypt was a partner to the union in advancing the interests of the African continent. The delegation of the AU Panel of the Wise (PoW), headed by former president of Mali Alpha Omar Konare, arrived in Egypt today from the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa. The visit is the second for the fact-finding delegation in about one month. The delegation meet several Egyptian officials to clarify the current situation in the country
