Minister of Military Production Mohamed el Assar conferred here Friday with visiting Kenyan Chief of Staff Samson Mwathethe on means of boosting bilateral cooperation.

Assar hailed as "particularly good" relations with Kenya and stressed the need to adopt an open approach to Africa, especially where the manufacture of arms is concerned.

During his visit to Egypt, Mwathethe made a tour inside the Egyptian Tank Plant Military Factory (Factory 200), which is considered the most modern military production plant in Egypt.
