Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry had a phone call on Monday with his French counterpart Jean-Marc Ayrault, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid.

They discussed the outcome of Shoukry’s visit to Israel as well as regional and international efforts exerted to encourage the Palestinians and Israel to resume the stalled peace process.

The contact reviewed the results of a Paris conference, said the spokesman.
