Three terrorists who were involved in killing 25 Egyptian soldiers in Rafah earlier this month, were arrested, a security source told Xinhua Saturday. One of them, known as Adel Habara, is the leader of the al- Qaida terrorist group in Sinai, the source said. The other two arrested were Mosbeh Soliman and Ahmed Mosbeh. \"The terrorists were arrested in their homes in Arish where quantity of weapons and bombs were found also,\" the source said. On Aug. 19, militants ambushed two buses carrying off-duty security men in Egypt\'s north Sinai, killing at least 25 and wounded three others. The day after, the security forces raided several criminal hideouts on the peninsula, arresting 11 terrorists. The security condition deteriorated in Sinai since the ouster of ex-President Hosni Mubarak in 2011, and worsened after the overthrow of his successor Mohamed Morsi, which triggered violence between the security forces and his supporters calling for his reinstatement. In August 2012, 16 Egyptian soldiers were also killed by militants in Rafah.
