The Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority (EFSA) was elected as deputy head of the Mediterranean capital markets partnership for two years.
This came on the sidelines of the annual meetings of the Mediterranean capital markets partnership, which run for two days.
The EFSA chief Sherif Samil welcomed Egypt's nomination to this post.
He also affirmed the EFSA's keenness on promoting cooperation with its counterparts in the Mediterranean region.
