A district court on Friday asked prosecutors to bring written parliamentary approval for the arrest of an opposition lawmaker suspected of plotting to overthrow the government, court official said. The request by the Suwon District Court was made as a precondition to the questioning of Lee Seok-ki of the minor opposition Unified Progressive Party (UPP) in accordance with the local law governing the arrest of legislators, they said.
