The Secretary General of the Council for International People\'s Friendship, (CIPF) Ahmed Abdul-Rahman, has affirmed the council\'s contribution and efforts to achieve the goal of bolstering relations between the Sudanese people and other nations as well as the official diplomatic relations. He said that the council has earlier provided several services and financial and in-kind support to many African liberation movements that have assumed rule in a number of African countries. Interviewed by SUNA, Abdul-Rahman said that the council is attaching great concern to consolidating Sudan relations with the Arab and African neighbouring and friendly countries, especially China, Malaysia and Indonesia. He noted that CIPF did not ignore the European and American peoples, adding that the council also contributed to bolstering the relations with Gulf States. The Secretary General also pointed out that the CIPF is a civil organization works in enhancement of Sudan relations, interests and cooperation with other peoples.
