Foreign ministers of the Caspian Sea littoral states, Iran, Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan, started official talks in Kazakhstan's capital, Astana.
The ministerial meeting opened in Astana on Wednesday at the Central Asian country's foreign ministry.
The meeting will discuss the most important issues related to the Caspian Sea, including its legal status, and the preparation of the working agenda and the necessary documents for the next summit of the Caspian countries' leaders to be held in Kazakhstan.
