The General Director of Northern Governorate Police today announced of a terrorist act represented in the explosion of a car bomb took place outside the boundary of a public park fence in Budaiya, no casualties were reported. He said as soon as police received the phone call about the explosion, at 6:24 this evening, immediately reported to the scene and necessary actions were applied. The initial investigation indicated that terrorists implanted two gas cylinders inside a car, but only one of them was exploded during Iftar time, where no citizens were seen in the scene at the time of the explosion. He added search and investigation are underway to bring the perpetrators to justice.
