An Egyptian court on Monday upheld a one-year prison sentence against ousted president Mohammad Morsi\'s Prime Minister Hisham Qandil. Qandil was sentenced in April for failing to implement a court ruling for workers of a textile company sold off by deposed president Hosni Mubarak\'s government. The Egyptian court said the prison sentence must now be put in force. The sentence against Qandil is related to a 2011 court ruling demanding the government to repurchase a textile company from a Saudi Arabian investor who bought it in 2005.
