The Islamist movement Muslim Brotherhood has formed a political party in Libya. The group was banned under the Gaddafi regime, but is now enjoying a rapid growth in influence across the Arab world. Parties aligned with the Muslim Brotherhood have already won a majority in elections in Egypt.
