British Ambassador to Cairo John Casson has praised the significant relations binding between Egypt and Britain.

Speaking in Arabic during celebration of the Queen's accession to the throne, Casson said that the relations between both countries have been developed.

Britain hopes to see Egypt more prosperous, Casson said.

A raft of officials, public figures and journalists attended the ceremony.
