Britain affirmed Sunday support and commitment to work with the Pakistani government in confronting terrorism and extreme radicalism. In a press release, Minister of State and Minister for Commonwealth Office Affairs Baroness Saida Warsi offered her condolences following attacks on a Christian church in Peshawar, Pakistan and condemned the attacks that took place earlier today in the Pakistani city of Peshawar, which killed and injured so many innocent people. \"These cowardly attacks are especially sickening as they targeted people leaving their place of worship,\" Warsi said. \"I offer my deepest condolences to the families that have lost loved ones and to those injured in the attacks. The United Kingdom will continue to support and work with Pakistan in their fight against terror and violent extremism,\" Warsi added.
