Italian prosecutors requested at a hearing on Wednesday that former prime minister Silvio Berlusconi be sentenced to five years in prison for bribing his former tax lawyer, Italian media reported. Berlusconi is accused of paying British lawyer David Mills $600,000 (450,000 euros) to provide false testimony in several trials against the billionaire tycoon in the 1990s. He denies the charges.
