Tehran - Fars
A senior Iranian Navy commander warned that in case Iran comes under a US military attack, its response will make Washington regretful.\"Whatever thought that it might have, the US should rest assure that if it wants to put it into action, it will result in a bitter experience and make it feel regretful,\" Commander of the Iran\'s First Naval Zone Admiral Hossein Azad said on Tuesday evening. Meantime, he described the United States\' recent war rhetoric against Iran as \"psychological warfare\". The admiral said the US should never forget that its threats cannot fool or discourage the Iranian nation, specially its armed forces. \"Meanwhile, we are well aware of our own capabilities and the enemies\' possibilities,\" he continued. Also on Tuesday, Lieutenant Commander of the Iranian Army Brigadier General Abdul-Rahim Mousavi said that the country\'s Armed Forces are so powerful that they can give a proper response to any kind of enemy threat. \"The Armed Forces, including the Army and the IRGC, are fully prepared to confront any threat posed by foreign enemies to the holy land of the Islamic Republic of Iran,\" Mousavi told FNA. Meantime, Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Commander Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari said that Iranian Armed Forces\' high level of preparedness to defend the country was a major factor behind enemies\' retreat from their threats against the Islamic Republic. \"The ground, air, naval defense forces as well as the sophisticated air defense and missile systems have been armed and are at the peak of preparedness,\" Jafari said in a village near South Khorassan provincial capital city of Birjand on Tuesday. Iranian officials and commanders have warned that any enemy moves, even the slightest aggressions, against the Islamic Republic would be reciprocated with a destructive response and will endanger the US interests all around the world.
