An Egyptian policeman was killed and four others were injured during an attack on their patrol in Ismailia governorate, said a security source here Friday. According to the Middle East News Agency (MENA), the source said that the patrol was heading back from duty to secure a bridge in West Al-Qantra area. The source added that militants ambushed the patrol, killing a police brigadier and injuring his fellow patrolmen. The identity of the assailants is still unknown, indicated the source. Meanwhile, another attack occurred in Ismailia leading to the injury of five policemen.
