As the international community works to resume talks on the Iranian nuclear programme, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif will meet European Union foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton at the UN General Assembly, dpa quoted her office as saying Friday The announcement came one day after Iran\'s presidency said the Foreign Ministry would take over responsibility for the talks with the international 5+1 group, which is represented by Ashton. She called Zarif on Friday morning and agreed with him \"that they would meet in New York during the UNGA week,\" her office said. The General Assembly will open on September 17.
