The Arab League strongly condemned on Sunday the terrorist assault at the Westgate Shopping Mall in Nairobi which resulted in killing many innocent civilians. \"We completely reject the use of violence and the targeting of innocent civilians, and assert on full solidarity by all Arab nations to Kenya and its confrontation to violence,\" the League\'s secretariat said in a press release. The statement also noted that they are monitoring the situation closely and with deep concerns to such tragic attack, offering their condolences and sympathy to victims\' families and to the Kenyan government. Algeria also condemned \"in the strongest terms\" last night terrorist in Nairobi, expressing \"its firm condemnation of all forms of terrorism,\" spokesman of the Foreign ministry Amar Belani said. \"Algeria condemns with the strongest terms the cowardly and heinous terrorist attacks, perpetrated Saturday against a mall in Nairobi, and reiterates its firm condemnation of all forms of terrorism and its determination to fight this scourge which is a serious threat to international peace and security,\" Belani added. Al least 59 people were killed in the attack on Nairobi\'s mall.
