Algerian Foreign Minister Mourad Medelci said Sunday that his country is keen to develop diversified economic cooperation with Britain after talks with visiting representative of the British prime minister for economic partnership Richard Risby. Medelci was quoted by APS news agency as saying that \"we are very interested in developing with Britain relations in the domain of services and tourism.\" Medelci recalled the numerous cooperation projects between the two nations, including those in the sector of energy, noting that Algeria wants to expand their cooperation into other fields. For his part, Risby said his visit to Algeria aims to discuss with the Algerian officials \"ways of boosting and developing the economic cooperation between the two countries.\" \"We have also discussed a couple of international issues, including the Syrian crisis,\" he added. Algeria\'s state-run gas and electricity group Sonelgaz and a couple of British institutions specialized in human resources and business management training signed two memoranda of understating.
