Alexandria prosecution on Friday ordered senior Muslim Brotherhood member Hassan el-Brens to remand in custody for 15 days pending investigations. The decision was made following four-hour investigations with el-Brens at his detention in Bog Al-Arab prison in Alexandria. The leading MB figure faces 17 charges, including disrupting the constitution and law, attacking public facilities, joining a terrorist group and inciting premeditated killing and attempted murder and arson.
