The Albanian foreign minister is scheduled to visit South Korea later this week for talks over bilateral ties, the foreign ministry here said Monday. Edmond Haxhinasto, who also serves as the deputy Prime Minister, will arrive in Seoul Tuesday in the first visit by a top Albanian diplomat to South Korea in five years, according to the ministry. During his two-day trip, he is scheduled to meet with South Korean foreign minister Kim Sung-hwan to discuss the strengthening of bilateral cooperation and the expanding of high-level exchanges. South Korea and Albania established official diplomatic relations in 1991.
