The Assembly of Albania Thursday approved by 78 votes in favor to none against the bill on \"The Measures Against Financing Terrorism.\" The law was approved at a plenary session, which was held without the presence of the opposition. The law determines the measures against financing terrorism, as well as the order and control of their implementation. The objectives of this law are the prevention and disclosure of activities of individuals, corporate bodies, groups and organizations occupied in financing terrorism. Earlier this day, the Albanian lawmakers approved amendments to the Law on Integrated Waste Management, thus annulling a 2011 law approved by the previous government. \"No waste will be imported into the country until the day Albania would be able to collect, sort and treat its own waste materials. Till then we have no other choice but respect the citizens\' health and public interest,\" PM Rama told lawmakers. According to Rama, \"import of recyclable materials is source of money laundering and this sector involves Mafia interests.\"
