Al-Falah Charitable Society in Palestine, concluded its \"Ramadan Al-Khair\" project this week, by providing poor families with break-fast (Iftar), and giving Eid clothing for hundreds of orphans and children of the poor in Gaza Strip. Head of the Society, which is funded by donors in Kuwait, Sheikh Ramadan Tanboora said on Saturday that the society pays great attention to providing people in need with essential items they need during Ramadan and Eid, adding that the society had launched the project in the beginning of Ramadan, in an attempt to make life easier for Palestinians who are under Israeli siege. Tanboora noted that the society had also run other charity projects such as providing poor families with bread, and other food supplies, also giving them financial aid including Zakat, charity money, and money to support orphans. Giving Iftar meals in Al-Aqsa Mosque square plays a big role in attracting more worshippers, to be present at the mosque he said, adding that this could help in defending the mosque against Israeli actions aiming to destroy it. Tanboora thanked His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Kuwaiti people, charitable organizations, and all those who gave donations to support Palestinians. He also praised the efforts of the Head of the International Islamic Charitable Organization in Kuwait, Dr Abdullah Al-Matouq, and Head of Kuwait Relief Society Sheikh Yousif Al-Hajji, to support charity projects in Palestine.
