IRI president said at closing ceremony of Digital Media Festival, “I do not believe there is any such thing as a cultural war, as culture is shared common inheritance of human beings and innate natures of entire mankind are inclined towards God. According to IRNA, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad who was speaking at the festival’s ceremony held at Tehran’s Vahdat Concert Hall, added, “The ongoing war today is a war between the un-culture and culture; the war between the uncivilized and the civilized, while the commonalty among the entire human beings is monotheism, pureness, and love.”  The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran pointing out that some people are worried that the un-culture front has invaded the country, said, “I believe if the Iranian land’s youth would be provided with the proper opportunity, they would export the divine faith of this land in a humane and logical language to the entire world.”  He added, “Some countries accuse the Iranian nation of terrorism, while those who are after terrorist acts are deprived of culture, logic, and the power to attract thoughts and minds.”  The president reiterated, “The Iranian nation is a nation whose history has been culture-building and civilization-building.”  Ahmadinejad further reminded the audience that in recent past Iran had been a number of times occupied by the enemies, reiterating, “We are a nation that despite our countries’ occupation for a number of times by the enemies who destroyed our libraries and turned us homeless, managed to exert our will over the enemies, thanks to our strong cultural power, and made them yield to our determination.”  Ahmadinejad said that some people are worried for the country’s youth, reiterating, “There is no need to be worried in that respect, since if our youth would be provided with proper opportunities, they would conquer the entire peaks of the world and secure their supremacy there.”  The president criticized those who compare the attitude of the Iranian youth today with that of the youth back in the year 1978 (the year in which the Islamic Revolution gained victory) reiterating, “Assuming so means that the Iranian nation has marched without proceeding at all for 40 years.”  He added, “The human beings can achieve a status from which merely relying on power and will they would be able of moving everything from a place to another place.”  Pointing out that this capacity does exist in the universe and it is not beyond the capabilities of the human beings.”  President Ahmadinejad argued, “The scientific opportunities are countless and we are just at the beginning of the way.”  According to the president, the victual space is a window towards the universe and in fact just a drop from the sea, as the great gates of the sciences have still not been widely opened towards the mankind.”  He pointed out that the progress and advancement trend of the Iranian youth is quite high, reiterating, “The Iranian technicians, particularly our youth, can take full advantage of these God-given talents, which they are now taking advantage of, in order to conquer the entire peaks of the world.”  President Ahmadinejad elsewhere in his address noted that some people are leading lives amid poverty, enmities, and wretched lives, reiterating, “The entire mankind wishes to lead lives in prosperity and abundance.”  Pointing out that the Iranian nation’s wish is that the entire mankind would lead good lives, he once again stressed, “There are endless talents in the human beings, discovering which can lead to solving the entire problems of the mankind.”
