The Supreme Judicial Elections Commission declared on Wednesday that 783 judges and public attorneys have been tasked with supervising the upcoming parliamentary polls. Among them 426 will be functioning full time throughout the balloting day, and the rest have been picked up to serve as back-up for the task. The commission said in a statement that final results of the elections will be conducted manually after closure of the ballot stations. In each of the electoral constituencies, there will be a supreme commission, several other main committees and sub-committees. Number of the main commissions in the first constituency reached 16 affiliated with 62 sub-committees. Their figure in the second district reached 16 with 38 sub-committees, 20 (with 64 sub-committees) in the third, 22 (96) in the fourth, 26 (96) in the fifth. The commission, which has prepared booklets including guidelines for voters, will hold a news conference later today to talk about mechanisms of the process and participation of representatives of societies and monitors. The higher commission had been formed according to a decision by Minister of Justice Sherida Al-Muosherji. It is headed by the chief judge of the court of appeal, Justice Ahmad Al-Ajeel.
