Iraqi security source said that 50 militants were killed and wounded in a security operation in Babylon province in southern Iraq. In a statement released today, the source said a joint army and police force began yesterday a security operation in Al Buhayrat area, north of Al Hilla in southern Iraq, killing 15 militants and wounding 35 others . The source pointed out that Al Buhayrat area is surrounded by security elements and reinforcements from the eighth division have arrived, stressing that the operation will not stop until the area is cleared of militants.
