Five Chinese workers were killed in an arsenal blast which took place in Brazzaville, the Capital of Republic of Congo, China's Foreign Ministry said Monday. According to the Chinese Department of Consular Affairs of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the blast affected the housing project under construction by Beijing Construction Engineering Group, killing five Chinese workers and leaving two others missing and 12 others injured, China's News Agency (Xinhua) reported. About 130 Chinese engineers and technicians were involved in the project and all of the rest have moved to safe places. Urgent search and rescue have started immediately after the blast.
