At least 42 Pakistan nationals deported from Turkey reach back home and were taken into custody by Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in Islamabad, media report said on Friday. Daily “The Nation”, quoting FIA immigration sources, reported that 42 people hailing from different cities illegally tried to go to Greece without passports and other documents some three months back but were held by Turkish police. The arrested persons remained under detention and in the custody of interrogation cell of Turkish police and were sent back to home through special flight on Friday. The detainees were taken into custody by passport cell soon after they arrived at Benazir International Airport. Sources said FIA immigration has handed over the detainees to passport cell and would later be shifted to FIA centers in the concerned districts.
