Four people were killed on Tuesday due to heavy rains in some Algerian areas, the civil defense directorate announced. Two people drowned in a hole filled with rains water, while two others were swept away by flood at a town in the Algerian region of Aghwat, the directorate indicated in a statement. Fifty-three people were rescued after being stranded by rain water and floods in Bouhmama and Ouled Rechache districts of Khenchela Province, eastern Algerian capital, noted the statement.
