At least three troops were killed and 14 others injured when a blast hit an army vehicle in Pakistan\'s northwest tribal area of North Waziristan on Sunday afternoon, official sources said. Inter Services Public Relations, the mouthpiece of Pakistan army, said that a roadside homemade bomb was triggered off by a remote controlled device when an army vehicle was passing near it in Boya area of North Waziristan, a restive tribal agency at Pakistan-Afghan border. The report said that the vehicle was on its way to Datta Khel area from the agencies administrative headquarters of Miranshah when it came under attack. The injured people have been shifted to a nearby hospital from where the critically injured troops would be airlifted to the neighboring Bannu district. No group claimed responsibility for the attack yet. Security forces cordoned of the area and kicked off a search operation.
