An improvised explosive device exploded in a mosque in Russia\'s North Caucasus republic of Kabardino-Balkaria early Friday, reportedly killed two men, local authorities said. \"Two dead bodies torn apart presumably by the explosion were discovered at the scene. A Kalashnikov assault rifle was found nearby,\" the Interfax news agency quoted a local law enforcement spokesman as saying. Preliminary investigations showed the unidentified men were transporting the explosive device. The Russian Investigative Committee said in a press release \"the device contained the equivalent explosive of more than one kilogram of TNT.\" Local police have cordoned off the scene.
