Navy forces foiled two Illegal immigration attempts to Europe via Alexandria, Armed Forces Spokesman Mohamed Samir said on Sunday.

In a press release, he added that the navy forces suspected two fishing boats off Alexandria shores in which they searched and found 152 people of different nationalities including Egyptians, Sudanese, Somalis, Yemenis, Syrians, Ethiopians, Palestinians and Eritreans. 

The fishing boats were dragged to Abu Kir port, while the illegal immigrants were referred to the concerned authorities to take required legal measures.
