Syria security forces "massacred" 19 people in the province of Idlib on Thursday, including 11 people from the same family, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said. "The security forces carried out a massacre during an assault on the Sahl Erruj valley, which contains a number of villages, costing 19 lives, including 11 from the same family," Observatory chief Rami Abdel Rahman told AFP. The killing took place as troops loyal to President Bashar al-Assad attacked the villages of Hila, Sankara and Bansakul, east of the city of Jisr al-Shughur, he said.
