At least 15 people were killed when a bus fell into a ravine in northern Pakistan on Monday night, reported local media. According to a report by local Urdu TV channel Geo, the accident took place in Haripur, a mountainous area located some 40 kilometers northwest of the country\'s capital Islamabad. An estimated 25 passengers including women and children were on board when the fast-moving bus plunged into a 60-feet-deep ravine due to the loss of the control over its brake, said the report. Rescue workers including paramilitary forces rushed to the site shortly after the accident was reported. All the injured have been shifted to nearby District Headquarters Hospital. Hospital sources said some of the injured were in critical condition and the death toll could further rise.
