13 Ukrainian doctors rescued from Daesh in Libya

A total of 13 Ukrainian doctors were freed from Daesh with the help of the oil facilities guards in Ras Lanuf town in northern Libya.

Six male and seven female doctors were released after they were held by Daesh since the terrorist group controlled the town on January 4, the health services office said in statements to the Libyan Al Wasat news website. 

The Ukrainian Embassy in Tunisia has immediately contacted the office after release of the doctors, the office further said.
