Police shot dead an unidentified criminal in Dagestan’s Kizilyurt district, an Investigative Department spokesman told Itar-Tass on Sunday. During a police raid two unidentified militants opened a fire on police officers. As a result, one militant was killed in the shootout, another one managed to flee. Police officers were not wounded. A militant killed in the shootout is being identified.
