A member of the militant group Islamic Jihad was killed and three other Palestinians were wounded in Israeli air strikes on the Gaza Strip on Saturday, Palestinian medics and witnesses said. Security sources said three raids targeted Khan Yunis in southern Gaza. Witnesses said Abed Muhana, 20, a member of Al-Quds Brigades, armed wing of Islamic Jihad, was killed in the raid. Medics said three other people were wounded but there was no immediate word on their condition. An Israeli military spokesman, contacted by AFP, said an air strike targeted Khan Yunis without giving details.
