The blast that wounded Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh on June 3 was caused by one of many bombs planted in a mosque, a Western diplomat said Thursday, adding that the others failed to explode. Saleh was wounded by a TNT explosive, the diplomat said in Sanaa.
