The Tunisian Tourism Minister, Elias al-Fakhfakh, has been appointed Finance Minister by Head of the troika government Hamadi Jebali. Elias will keep his functions as Tourism Minister, the government announced in a statement, until someone else is appointed.   This move is the first sign of a cabinet reshuffle in Tunisia since it was formed in December 2012. Other changes are expected. An official source in the troika government revealed that Lubna al-Griby, from the centre-left Ettakakol party, is very likely to replace al-Fakhfakh as tourism minister. Salim Besbas filled in the position following former Finance Minister Hussein Aldemassa’s resignation in July. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Administrative Reform is still vacant since its last Secretary General, Mohammed Abu, resigned last June.
