Jewish settlers storm Nablus shrine

Dozens of Israeli settlers on Tuesday stormed the eastern part of the West Bank city of Nablus under the protection of Israeli soldiers.

Palestinian sources said that scores of Jewish settlers stormed what they claim to be “Joseph Tomb” east of Nablus , where they performed their Talmudic rituals under the protection of the Israeli soldiers.

Confrontations erupted between Palestinian youths and Israeli soldiers who fired tear gas canister and stun grenades, but no injuries were reported, the sources said.

Meanwhile, extremist settlers from Emmanuel settlement uprooted hundreds of olive seedlings in Deir Estia village, northwest of Salfit.
