Grand Imam Ahmed Al-Tayeb, sheikh of the Al-Azhar mosque in Cairo, will receive Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas at 1100 hrs tomorrow, it has been announced. Following the meeting, the Grand Imam will also sit down for talks with Iranian Foreign Minister, Ali Akbar Salehi, at 1330 hrs, and is expected to do the same at 1000 hrs with Egypt’s new Interior Minister, Major General Mohammed Ibrahim Naguib, who took the position in President Mohammed Morsi’s recent cabinet reshuffle.
