Hundreds of young ultras in Alexandria have closed down the city’s seaside corniche to commemorate the anniversary of the Port Said football massacre.
Demonstrated chanted slogans, as hundreds of protesters marched from the downtown area towards the city’s iconic lighthouse, where founder Mahmoud Ghandour is buried.
Ghandour was the only Alexandrian martyr in Port Said massacre.
Huge protests also convened in the Sidi Gaber region, participating in what has been called “Salvation Friday.”
